Introduction to Logic and its Application Introduction to Set theory and its related concepts, Graphical representation of sets through Venn diagram and its Application Relations their types and representation of relations through matrices and diagrams(arrow, coordinate etc) An introduction to functions, types, composition and inverse Sequence& Series and their types along with their applications Introduction to Recursion and recursively defined functions Principle of Mathematical Induction and its Applications Methods of proof including direct proof and indirect proof, Classification of indirect proof by using contraposition and contradiction Introduction to Algorithm, its pre and post conditions and loop invariant with the description of Division Algorithm Combinatorics including K-sample, K-selection, K-Permutation and K-Combination Tree diagram and some related concepts like inclusion exclusion principle, pigeon hole principle and their application Introduction to Probability theory related laws, theorems and application Random Variable and related concepts including probability distribution, expected value and variance Introduction to Graphs with the description of path and circuits, planar graphs, matrix representation and Isomorphism of graphs Trees, Spanning Trees and its related algorithms
