Course Overview
|
Course Synopsis
|
This course titled as “Quantitative Research Methods” prepares the participants to analyze varying situations in a systematic, logical, and scientific manner. Students will learn the complete process to conduct research by using different quantitative research methodologies. This course covers all the important aspects of quantitative research i.e. different quantitative research methods, sampling techniques, data collection tools and data analysis and interpretation techniques etc. It develops critical thinking process enabling the participants to analyze the quantitative data and draw meaningful conclusions for sound decision making. Students will learn to interpret data by using different statistical software. Students will also learn how to write thesis, research proposal and research report.

Course Learning Outcomes
|
At the end of the course, students will be able to:
- • Understand research concerns related to Educational settings.
- • Convert research concerns into research problem in a clear and objective manner.
- • Formulate a research problem based on objective and pragmatic investigation of a situation.
- • Prepare a research/project proposal, making an appropriate use of quantitative research design and tools learnt in this course.
- • Prepare a theoretical framework or blueprint of the research, making an appropriate use of various research methodologies and tools.
- • Conduct quantitative research by following the complete research process.
