Course Overview

Course Synopsis

In the era of Globalization when world is becoming global village, business trends and procedures are changing very rapidly.Terms like international and multinational are changing into Global enterprises or businesses.In this course you will learn some classical theories of international business and how these theories go into transition phase and get mature by the passage of time. Also you will be able to get some information about different organizations working for international businesses including GATT, WTO etc and regional economic blocks like EU, SAFTA, NAFTA, SAARC etc .These organizations are responsible for making different policies, laws, practices and even courts to settle down the conflicts.

Course Learning Outcomes

At the end of the course, you should be able to:

  • Describe and explain the importance of International Business
  • Explain different factors which should be kept in mind before going for international Business
  • Apply concepts and theories of International Business
  • Explain different classical and modern theories
  • Develop different ideas and modes in current scenarios about international business and trade
  • Discuss different modes of entry into the international business.
