Course Overview

Course Synopsis

This course is designed for undergraduate students who will explore basic concepts about immunology starting from innate to adaptive immune system and their components like cells and organs of immune system and the procedure to analyze them in healthy and diseased living organisms.This course will enable the students to get sufficient knowledge about the subject to carry out research in the related fields.

Course Learning Outcomes

Understanding from Basics of immune system to the complete mechanism of antigen antibody mechanism in living system

  • After learning this course, the students will learn about the features and the components of the immune system as well as their functions, but the primary emphasis of this course will be on the mechanisms involved in immune system development and responsiveness. The students will also learn about the major scientific techniques that are used for the analysis of these mechanistic features to help understand how immunologists think and work.
