Course Overview

Course Synopsis

The director’s vision guides the team. A director is imaginative person who can lead others to work towards his/her creative vision. This course is designed to discover the creativity and to develop skills and knowledge that is required for direction. The course includes the topics of good production techniques, director’s job, selection of production team, Qualities of TV director, Television Programing, Types of Television Performers, Planning and Paperwork, Ethics and Values. This course covers the techniques to direct a good TV program. It also throws light on the qualities and responsibilities of a good TV director. As no quality and genuine work can be done without ethics and values, hence, this course also covers the ethical aspects of TV direction. Due to rapid technological advancement TV direction has becomes an innovative skill, so this course will also focus on latest technology used in quality direction.
